Saturday Indesign provides a chance for the design and architecture industry to experience innovation and discover the current and future products of the design world. 

This year, Saturday Indesign is uniting 34 exceptional local, regional and international design brands, all of which opening their showroom doors in Melbourne to excite and delight attending design professionals and design lovers alike. Connected by a choose-your-own-adventure style of bus loops, thanks to transport partner Neolith (as well as walking trails and Melbourne public transport links), we invite you to come along and immerse yourself in all that the design industry has to offer on Saturday September 2 from 9am-5pm. 

With a jam packed program of timed events including design discussions, workshops, collaborations and more, there’s a lot to take in across the day. For those who are looking to be ahead of the game on their specifying journey, we’ve compiled the best product launches to help whet your appetite.

From sustainability innovations to the latest hybrid working solutions, we’ve got launches galore happening right across the three precincts. You’ll be the one of the first to see these new releases and will have the chance to get up close and personal to see how they can work in situ.

Saturday Indesign 2023 Product Launches

The Habitat

The latest in hybrid working solutions will be on show at Aspect Furniture. Made specifically to cater for the changing face of workplace design, Habitat is a light, flexible, modular system that can be expanded and quickly adapted to suit personal needs. Designed to help delineate between spaces and zones within both home and office, Habitat is all about agility, flexibility and designed boundaries.  

Combining the expertise of Aspect Furniture, Autex Acoustics and Blender, Habitat micro-environments are made from a simple kit of parts that deliver high-performing acoustics and can be set up in under 30 minutes. Habitat is a light-footprint solution, with each panel made from 53 x 600ml recycled plastic bottles.

Autex Acoustics’ latest products!

Autex Acoustics will be showcasing a selection of their innovative and sustainable acoustic treatments and solutions. On show and in action will be their latest product launch, Lanes™, a modular, 3D acoustic panel system designed for disassembly and with circularity in mind.
