Karen Webster is the Dean and Principal of the Melbourne campus of Internationally acclaimed Design Institute LCI, with a network of 24 campuses globally. Karen has been a key player, design advocate and leading academic in Australian’s creative industries over the past 40 years. Karen held senior positions in fashion and textiles at RMIT University for nearly twenty-five years and her devotion to making a positive difference to the creative industries has not wavered. Karen took up an industry role as Design Director of Buzz Products in 2017 before returning to her true love of fostering innovative design education at LCI Melbourne in June 2019.
