1. Interpretation in these terms:

1.1 “Organisers” means the Saturday Indesign team or Indesign Media Asia Pacific.

1.2 “Showrooms” means participating companies.

1.3 “Contractors” are external third parties hired by Saturday Indesign including bus company, technology company, couriers etc.

1.4 “Visitor” means the person, firm, company or other organisation attending the event or registering for the event.

1.5 “Services” means the showroom booking and the event services to be supplied to you by Saturday Indesign.

2. The Organisers are not liable for any delay, fault or incident caused by any Contractors.

3. The Organisers are not liable for any incident, harm or direct or indirect cost to the Visitor caused inside or by the exhibiting showrooms.

4. The Visitor acknowledges that the Organisers may need to cancel or delay and re-route transportation due to industrial actions, council restrictions, unsuitable weather conditions, technical problems or any event beyond the Organiser’s reasonable control. In no circumstance will the Organisers be liable for any losses, which a Visitor may occur as a result of the above.

5. The Visitor agrees to act responsibly and prudently in the receipt and enjoyment of the services and to comply with all applicable laws, licenses and regulations governing the service, including all advice and instructions provided by Saturday Indesign from time to time.

6. The Visitor may be refused entry, be requested to leave the event or particular showroom or be physically restrained or removed if the Visitor is in breach of the event’s terms and conditions; objectionable to other Visitors; or is, for any reason, disturbing, causing discomfort or threatening the safety or security of any other Visitors; the Visitor is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The Organiser is not liable for any loss, which the Visitor incurs as a result.

7. Subject to the provisions of these terms and conditions, and any applicable laws, the Organiser is not liable for or in connection with any:

(i) Death or personal injury, illness, disability to a Visitor caused or aggravated in the course of visiting the event; or

(ii) Fraudulent misrepresentation; or

(iii) In the case of willful default.

8. The Organiser shall not be liable for or in connection with any costs, direct or indirect as a result of:

(i) Excessive consumption of alcohol by a Visitor

(ii) The effect of any food allergies in the consumption of any food throughout the event

9. The Organisers shall not be liable to the Visitor for any direct or indirect costs, claims, damages, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever in respect of any misrepresentation, negligence, misstatement, default, act or omission by any sub- contractor, supplier or other third party service provider who is retained by Saturday Indesign in the provision of services.

10. The Visitor is advised to exercise due care when entering and exiting showrooms, walking between venues, hopping on and off the complimentary bus services and when driving.

11. You agree that your name, address and email address shall, when provided by you, be added to the Indesign Media Asia Pacific customer database and Indesignlive newsletter database. You agree that upon entering any showroom participating in the event, your registration pass will be scanned by the Exhibitor to collect your data. You agree that your pass may be scanned/recorded if you are using the Saturday Indesign shuttle or studio bus service and may be shared with partners. You may receive email correspondence from Indesign Media Asia Pacific and its Partners, and any showroom you visited during the event. You will have the option to unsubscribe from emails at any time.

12. Saturday Indesign reserves the right to cancel, change or reschedule the event and/or any of its elements, showrooms or features without notice. In no circumstance will the Organisers be liable for any losses, which a Visitor may occur as a result of the above.

13. Saturday Indesign is a Covid-Safe event. Protocols may be introduced or changed in accordance to NSW Health regulations and advice at the time of the event. This includes, but is not limited to: compulsory mask wearing, QR check-ins, sanitising, capacity limits, spacing. Saturday Indesign reserves the right to remove or refuse entry to showrooms and visitors who are in breach of the event and government regulations at that time.13.1 Saturday Indesign requires all showrooms, contractors and visitors to be double vaccinated to attend the event. Saturday Indesign reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone who is not double vaccinated or refuses to comply with requests to sight their vaccination certificate (as presented on a recognised Australian Government State Services app or as a download from myGov).
