Dijana has over 20 years’ experience leading a range of project types and scales from innovative engineered timber buildings, commercial, integrated transport/commercial developments and education projects, to high-end residential. She is currently leading larger scale projects at CHROFI.
Dijana has a proven record of delivering technically complex projects with creative design solutions. Prior to joining CHROFI she was Associate Director at Tzannes and was with the practice for 18 years. She was project architect on International House, Sydney’s breakthrough first commercial timber building in Barangaroo, Tzannes’ most acclaimed project and recipient of over 30 industry awards. She was the Associate Director in charge of Daramu House, the sister building of International House and led the design team for the 28-storey commercial tower of the southern Metro Martin Place integrated development.
Dijana has delivered public talks on the topic of mass engineered timber, as well as for Parlour, Australia’s leading research body on gender equity in architecture. She has tutored Design Studio at Sydney University and is currently co-leading the High Performance Technology final year Masters’ Design Studio at UNSW.
